ABOUT THE COMPANY

Calvert (Cal) Mason is the owner & the president of Calvert’s Construction Services Inc. and has been in the construction industry for over 25 years.

 

Cal started in the business as a professional insulation contractor. After a 21-year career in various management roles, he decided it was time to venture out on his own. His vast construction site experience has given Cal many attributes for success, notably an ability to communicate with stakeholders, ownership groups, clients, and contractors alike. His approach is friendly, straightforward, with honesty and integrity. 

 

With the ability to source excellent trades and suppliers, Cal understands this is the foundation that drives a successful team environment. His motto: “Good trades make great companies”. Listening and communication skills with a respect for the team of subtrades is what helps get the job done. This means the subcontractors will show up when needed and do the good work with minimal supervision.  They know what level of work is expected with Cal, and they know they are paid promptly and treated fairly.
