You’re only as good as your weakest link and every tradesperson employed by Cal is professional, skilled at their craft and respectful of the work.

Nothing is too small for us
Do you just need a handyman for your project? Something one-off, relatively straightforward like hanging a TV mount on the wall, or repairing a hole in your drywall made by the kids?
We can repair it quickly at high quality and cost effectively. We are often called to fix jobs that have gone wrong after well-intentioned homeowner attempts.

PROFESSIONAL APPROACH
Renovations and Large Scale
For larger projects like home or commercial renovations, Calvert’s Construction Services will bring in their trusted architectural designer and interior designer to help us visualize and design a space that works fundamental to how you will use it.
With some creative vision and years of experience, we are able to lead you into the Planning stage. This is an important part of the project to ensure costs are estimated accurately, detailed designs are finalized and ascope of work is put into motion.
3. ESTIMATE AND CONTRACT
Scope of Work & Timelines
Once you have an agreed proposal for work in place, we can sign a contract - and from that point on, materials will be ordered, and sub-trades will be scheduled such as plumbers, electrical contractors and others as needed.
Timelines will be established based on trade and material availability.
4. AFTER SERVICE AND FOLLOW UP
Satisfaction
Workmanship is our calling-card and we want you to feel confident in referring us to your friends and family. We strive to get it right the first time, to your satisfaction.
Any deficiencies are handled promptly and a one-year parts and labour warranty is included with your job in addition to applicable manufacturer warranties.

Determining which contractor to choose is always an important decision. When you work with larger construction companies, you may meet the owner once at the beginning, and then you would be introduced to a site supervisor or project coordinator. While there is nothing wrong with this, there is an extended communication chain that opens up, sometimes at the risk of miscommunication or your wishes getting lost in translation.
When you choose to work with Calvert’s Construction, Cal is your single point of contact from start to finish. He will work with you on materials, colours and design, advising on the best way to accomplish your desired look.
With renovations, it is not uncommon to book multiple appointments with various suppliers to view samples and order your finishes. You can still do that of course, but Cal works with the suppliers on your behalf, bringing material samples and colour swatches directly to you, saving you time.
Cal will advise on the different products you can choose from in your home.
